I just adore Laura Kaye's writing style. Regardless of the length of her books, you can always count on solid characters, and a storyline that tugs your heart strings. This read was no exception. I fell in love with the characters and the plot never failed to impress me. This made for a perfect, sweet, romance! No unnecessary angst or drama. It felt realistic throughout and was executed perfectly. 3.5 stars. The beginning when they meet, the banter between them was great and there were some sweet moments. But the development of their relationship was lacking. They both fell in love after they hardly spent any meaningful time together besides sex (a lot of people would be okay with that and I don't blame them but sometimes I just want to read a cutesy romance). And after he screwed up, it took other people getting involved to push them to talk it out. I'd say this was still highly enjoyable though.
I like this more than the first book. I like Brady and Joss' story more. THUMBS UP FOR LAURA KAYE :)

Loved the story but the ending was rushed. That's why I gave it 4 stars.
