I am a big fan of Kevin Henkes! I really have enjoyed all of his books. This book is different from the others, it is set up as a chapter book. This book also does not have much plot. In other words, there is no problem and solution. It is simply a story of a "family," saying what normal families say when they don't have time to do all that life demands. It does teach a lesson of spending time with your children and hearing what they have to say.
