Still engaging, although there are some scenes that are kinda disturbing especially the rape scene. Everything is told down to it's gritty details. I so do not want to relive that part of the story.Rocky continues to find release though oral sex with random guys she met in a bar. She always had this need. But unlike Link, whose sexual outlet is to someone he knows which is Lea, Rocky's is to some unknown guys, making her game dangerous. Here, Link and Rocky is starting to feel their attraction towards each other. I cannot really say if this is one of those lust at first sight kind of thing.Link still firmly believes that everyone who did it to Olivia doesn't deserve to live. Reading this got me thinking about the justice system in our country. How painful to see the guilty party walk away from his sin. The injustice. These novellas of The Dirty series are 50ish pgs, but packed full of character depth which is rare. Usually the novellas are full of insta/speedy love w/ out a believable base. And, if you're looking for that, then this novella ain't for you. The progression from one novella to the finale one is pretty good. The author gets into the conflicting emotions of each main lead so well that you just want to reach in and hold them tight while whispering "it's ok you're ok" I did this several times. Heart aching moments for each of them and I just keep repeating that their actions, in actions, struggles, and progression are absolutely believable. I like how the pace is slow for the 2 main characters and of course I wish the novellas were wrapped up into 1 whole book. The sensitive topic of rape and assault is just so well written in this novella and the subsequent novellas.
