Link's desire for vengeance continues. Here, we get face to face with two of the accused and tell us why they did it.Listening from the bad guys and reliving what happened during that day is painful for Link. It's also to hard to live each day with the purpose of one thing only... To seek justice.The sexual tension between Link and Rocky continues as they both give in and try to give each other some relief. This series gets a little darker & dirtier in this 3rd installment. Link is finally getting revenge on 2 of the 4 individuals involved in his stabbing & Olivia's murder. But does he feel the calmness & the satisfaction that he hoped to feel with his vengeance? The man who held Olivia down while she was tortured sheds some light on how that brutal night occurred. While Link has always hoped to make sense of the violence, this further rocks his stability by the senselessness of the act. Rocky is blooming under the watchful eye of Link, surprised that she is responding to his touch, his kiss, his beautiful body. And she begins to paint again so I'm hoping she can gain back some of her life that was stripped from her. Rocky believes she wants the vengeance the same way Link does but it is up to Link to convince her that it might not solve the problems going on in her mind, that it might cause more problems, that it might not help her heal. Finally Rocky finds someone who shares the heartache & pain that she does & understands her. Great ending & we're hoping that Rocky & Link are able to be together but again, a nice little twist at the end that further links these two together. Can't wait to read book 4!!
