So, this book is not bad. Too bad.It kept me interested so it will get 3 stars. Now, when I think what to write about positive sides...I can't think of any. I'll just comment on few things that bothered me.- it is clearly a rip off of 50 shades of grey. There's a female student, nothing special but still very special to the main character. she is a virgin, kind, wants to help, sexual godess even though she just started having sex...Then there's a billionaire, a young man who has troubled past, owns a half of town, he is great in bed and into s&m. He can't tell her what made him that way so she is constantly questioning herself. I cannot believe but even 50 shades was better because at least i liked the man and here...i didn't feel anything. we can all assume he loves her, but it's hard to see it from the writing. and it seems to me that he is more into s&m then christian grey was. i liked that because he was at least true to himself and i hope he won't turn soft in the next book. like the reason he was that way is because of some trauma...- Francesca is sweet but it bothers me to read about these girls that are not aware of their beauty and who say one thing and do the other. it's just stupid. she tried to stay away from him million times, but she always gives in very quickly... - Ian (great name) probably has a weird past but i don't think his character is written well in this book. i didn't feel his strugle, his love and need for her. And the book was written from their POV but to much of hers POV. - i see the second book is about lucien. i don't care about him and even though i have it, i'm not sure i'll be reading it soon. while i would want to see how ian and francesca end, but i don't have that book and can't get it :( i am interested at the moment, but i'll probably forget it after i start reading something else..i don't know, it's ok to read this book, it can be interesting, but it's nothing special and nothing new. I enjoyed reading this book. I like Ian & Francesca, they complete each other: he gives her control in her life; she teaches him to live the present moment and accept the fact that he can be loved and taken care of despite his dark past and family tragedy. The story resembles 50 Shades of Grey and the traditional the Beauty & the Beast: Francesca, beautiful and innocent, manages to see the real Ian behind his coldness and impassiveness. The only thing I'd like to add to the plot is more conflicts & secrets b/n Ian and Francesca. And as it's not the end of the story, I'm eager to read further.

A second-rate "50 Shades of Grey". Didn't like.
