This was not my favourite of the series, nonetheless still a good story, sadly however, the editing is still an issue. (Ms Tina, I'm am willingly offering my proof reading services to you for free - if only because it means I get to read your stories first LOL). Throughout the book, the need to grab Rose by the shoulder and give her a thorough shaking & yelling to overwhelmed me, it's hard not to feel the sadness felt by both parties at the wasted years due to our common human trait of not seeking a second opinion & believing stories at face value (a bit like Facebook lol) - however, IMO it's a hard sell to believe someone as old as Rose could live with this misconception for over 200yrs, one would hope that in her many travels (and she is well travelled) she would've come across some "good" vampires who could have shed some light on her predicament right?! The end of Oliver & Rose's story finishes with even more questions than answers, it's exciting to see the developing story of Thomas & Eddie; and who exactly is this mysterious Cain; what will be the outcome of Wesley's ongoing "research" lol and still the future of Blake is left unknown - so many questions and possible series books to look forward to! I'm moving on to Oliver's story now, hopefully we'll find some answers there. Appreciation for you as always Ms Folsom. Another excellent story in the Scanguards series!I thought this installment was good because it shows the reader that the main vampire characters all had a life before they were turned. Quinn is a guy that has been sleeping his way around his existence to help him forget his wife - Rose. The wife he had when he was human and his one true love. Unbeknownst to him, after he was turned, so was she but they remained apart due a series of circumstances. When she turns up in his life again, his world is thrown into chaos. This book follows the story of these two getting on common ground and finding their way back to each other. The two main characters are engaging and I think it was them who kept me interested the most in reading this story as opposed to the story line itself. I was really routing for these two to sort out everything. Oh and I especially loved the little hint into Thomas's story ;-)
What do You think about Quinns Unendliche Liebe (2000)?
Not as good as the rest but its ok. Kinda disappointed it wasn't about Eddie and Thomas :'(
