I found myself highly enjoying this story. The book has a nice flow to it and keeps you interested throughout the story. In fact, I could not put the book down. The most appealing aspect of the story is the fact that one of the main characters is a reaper, there is just not many books that use this theme. This is a nice break to the vampires, werewolves’ books, not that I do not like them. The romance part of the story also has a different dynamic than other stories, which makes you want to read even more. So, as in for me, I will most definitely read the next book asap. To finish my short, but hopefully to the point review, if you like romance, paranormal stories, and YA books, you will enjoy this book. I received this book from the author free of cost in exchange for an honest review. First, I want to thank the author, Kate Evangelista, for the opportunity to read this book “Reaping Me Softly”. This book starts out with Arianne admitting to Ben, her best friend, that she sees dead people. He handles every new surprise she throws his way with calm belief and acceptance. The relationship between these two is so deep and amazingly sweet. I instantly fell in love with them both. Then you get to meet Niko and WOW! He isn’t at all what you would expect for a Reaper to be. Not to mention how sexy and sweet he is. When Carrie, Arianne’s sister joins the story line, she touched my heart and I felt the love for her that they all feel. This book has a lot of twists, turns, excitement and heartbreak! It will take you through the ringer and back out again. I highly recommend this book and I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the series!!
