this story left me feeling.....MEH. Savanah was just too damn perfect even after the author tried to pound how fragile she was in the beginning into our heads. But it turns out she was a domestic goddess and later on a sex goddess. NO FLAWS!!and Cole? Don't get me started on that guy. I was waiting for him to rip open his button up FBI dress shirt and display the "S" on his chest.and the big "secret"? Fucking waste of time and energy to even include that into the story. The characters were 2 dimensional and MARISSA WAS A PAIN IN THE ASS.story 1.25narrator 2the narrator didn't distinguish between male and female voices, but the story was simple enough that i could follow along without trying to figure out who's talking. Another book that sucker me in the beginning. I read the sample and the book seemed interesting enough to purchase. After I buy it, the book starts going down hill. Don't get me wrong it had some interesting parts to it but some/a lot of parts were boring. This was about an FBI agent raiding a cult compound and finds a young lady frighten and sitting in a corner. He saves her and started feeling responsible for her well being. Samantha grew up in the compound and that is all she knows. She is scared because she is left to start over on her own because she was 19 at the time of the invasion. Too old to be an orphan and to young to be out on her own without any help. Cole steps in and helps her and they will both fall for each other. Of course, there are ups and downs drama and secrets that threatens to destroy their relationship. Most is predictable, some just stupid. Overall 3 because of the Heat factor.
I really enjoyed it!!! But the sex scenarios could have been better... Just sayin'.
