I give this book 4.5 stars! This book was a bit different from the other Kendall Ryan books. Avery is a young girl that's in college. She had a troubled senior year due to a stupid boyfriend. When her first boyfriend in the last year of high school asked her to take some sexy photos she didn't refused. And when they broke up he spread the photos to all the students in their school. Now, when she walks around college and she sees someone from her past she needs to hide out so they don't see her, and spread to photos any further. One day, she's hiding and Jase sees her sitting behind the dumpster. He takes her under his protection and when they're sipping coffee he points himself to be her new life coach. Jase is an all time player, he had many girls and Stacia is one of this girls who won't leave him alone. Although Jase's life isn't sunshine and rainbows he still tries to cope with everything. he balances school with visiting his mother in the weekends. He still feels quilty about the fact that he wasn't there when she tried to kill herself. When Avery and Jase hang out more they both feel the sexual and electric tension between the two of them. They are together in one class. And their assigment is that they have to explore their self love and love for other people. Also the big 'O' needs to be researched. They do a lot of things together, and sometimes it gets heated. Avery doens't know how to tell him about the sexy pictures. She just wants to keep him close. When he finds out about the pictures he's convinced that she isn't the person she ought to be. They leave each other alone for a while. But when Jase hears about Avery trying to find her birthmother. He is ready to help her, after a little convincing she agrees that he can come with. There isn't a lot of talking during their twelve hour drive. But when they meet her mother and everything goes as planned (she turns out to be a normal person) she opens up to him again. In that way they open up to each other as well. When he admits to have fallen in love with her she can't believe what she's hearing. Things get heated again. But he is the one this time to be scared. When they were apart he and Stacia almost hooked up; But when they get home and they hang out again he needs to tell her and when he does... O o....Finally she lets it go. She figures out that he wants her and not Stacia. Everything turns out how it should be! I loved it! But a bit more drama wouldn't hurt nobody! ;)
I liked it at the start but I got so annoyed as it continued, especially the last 20%. Spoilers ahead:He just doesn't contact her after finding out. Then gets suuuuper upset over her past because she hadn't told him and wasn't who he thought she was. Blah blah blah. He had stuff from his past too. It was so annoying. Rather than getting pissed she got mad at herself and just forgives him. And his 'apology' is not an apology. And ugh the stuff at the motel.I did like them connecting and being friends and there were some cute parts. I just got very annoyed with them at the end and didn't like how they dealt with everything.

Could have been better if the phasing is not too fast.
