What do You think about Revenge Of The Lawn Gnomes (2004)?
This was also an amazing book of the Goosebumps franchise. And like The Girl Who Cried Monster, this slapped the shit outta me.And yes, I actually debated myself back then what is the correct pronunciation of 'gnome', and I realized it was awesome and I researched words that have the same rule.Well, the gnomes are actually moving when nighttime comes and they do shitty things that only the three (If I am correct the protagonists are three in here) protagonists can observe and see and so they confront and was yeah, I don't want to spoil so read it yourself because I also realized right now that every book in the franchise are short books. (And now I wonder why the hell I was really a slowpoke in reading. What.)

Joe and Mindy's father bought home two lawn gnomes and named then Hap and Chip from the lawn ornament store. Something strange starts to happen after they bring home the gnomes. Their neighbor, Mr. McCall's casaba melons are smashed, his car is covered with black paint, all the troubles begin to happen. Later, Joe suspects all the troubles are caused by the two gnomes. However, no one believes him when he tries to inform them that the gnomes are alive. Joe attempts to convince his friend Moose and his sister Mindy to help him prove that he is right. It's been a long time since I last read a book by R.L.Stine and I still finds it attractive. Something that I read that surprises me in the book is the part after the kids prove that the gnomes are alive. It surprises me because I expected the gnomes to hurt the kids but instead the gnomes ask the kids to help them get "home." However, something even more surprising happened (that's for you to find out). This is also my favorite part of the whole book because it is more than i expected. As always, the author ends the book that leads the reader to have further prediction about what's going to happen which didn't satisfy me as much.

Another fine Goosebumps addition. The main character is Joe, whose dad does lawn ornaments. Joe’s dad buys two lawn gnomes, and soon enough strange things begin happening. Something keeps digging up their garden, and the neighbors’ lawns are constantly being trashed by someone. Joe catches on but, of course, no one buys his ridiculous story and he is blamed for the trouble.A fine addition, with enjoyable banter between all the neighbors. The only problem is that it takes too long for any thrills to pick up pace: the book is about gardening, how exciting can that be?
