I'm an experienced home cook with a well equipped kitchen so I'm probably not the target market of this book. I found the use of shot glasses, teacups etc for measurements pretty infuriating and a bit of an insult to my intelligence but I guess there are some people that this would really appeal to.I've cooked several recipes from this book and they have all been really quick and tasty and so I'd recommend this book to busy working people. I'd also recommend it to beginning cooks. I own several Jamie Oliver cookbooks and one thing I like about them all is his 'style' - meals are generally hearty and not at all pretentious with an emphasis on healthy, fresh ingredients. This is the best cookbook I have ever read. I hate to cook, but as the mother of 2 I have been trying to learn. Years of buying and trying other cookbooks seem like such a waste. I wish I'd had this a long time ago! The recipes are simple, the several I've tried are delicious, all of the ingredients are easy to find. This book helps me cook in the way my family likes and needs to eat. Until I had this book, I used to truly dread dinner and wish I could just feed everyone cereal. Now cooking a meal is actually pleasant most days, and my family enjoys what I make!
What do You think about Revolução Na Cozinha (2008)?
This book has more common ingredients and less far out combinations than his other cookbooks.

Most of this is a little too gourmet for me but I am hopeful.
