Allison and Gabe's relationship starts off as a lie... and the two of them gradually fall for one another as their relationship turns from a lie into a physical relationship to one where they truly care about the other.I didn't think I would like this book, to be honest, but I was surprised by how in depth Vivian Arend went into both of these characters. Both are struggling, and when the decision is made to lean on one another, they help each other out with the struggles, whether or not they're addressed out loud.Seeing the evolution of these characters, their attraction and their relationship was a lot of fun for me. Gage has a stubborn man for a father and a huge task to take in hand (saving his family's ranch and their future). As if that is not enough and old friend wants a huge favor from him. Angel Boy proved the nick name is very accurate in its depiction of not just what he is but who he is. Gabe has a heart of gold now, its time to use it for himself.Even with deception truth can be revealed. Rafe is a softy. Travis has a whole lot going on. Jesse needs a real life of his own. Joel makes one want to comfort him and Ben needs a knock down draggem' out beat down.

I enjoyed it but sad it wasn't travis or the twins book!!!
