While I enjoyed Vicki and Joel's story and could relate to some of their real-life struggles, I enjoyed this one less than some of the others in this series for a variety of reasons.I feel like the whole 'two rebels helping one another out' storyline has been done.So has the 'I've never done this before, so let's try all the things' storyline.Even though I'd read renditions of this story elsewhere, I still enjoyed it and seeing these two former rebels working together to create something better for both of them. Another Coleman brother finds love --- Joel and Vicki's story. Vicki is a girl who has a bad repuation because of her family and their issues. She is nothing like them. Joel has always been nice to her and when his cousin Karen offers her a job at a camp in the summer she is hesitant becasue she is deathly afraid of horses. So she asks Joel to help teach her how not to be afraid and handle horses. Seem as if he teaches her other things too... love, relationships, family. Another great read in the series.
