Kami and I arrange a meeting with Smart Design, the Logo and Marketing Company - to discuss designs for our store. We also visit the location frequently, firstly because we’re so excited, secondly because we want everything to be absolute perfect and we want to have maximum use of the space and thirdly because we are so freaking excited. We had a brief meeting with a respected builder to draw up plans for the interior, and we also had a consultation with Milan, who is a fabulously, out to there, gay interior designer. He had some fantastic ideas and both Kami and I fell in love with him on first sight. Not only does he wear freaking awesome clothes and shoes to die for, he’s also smoking hot, hilariously funny and so far over the top I think he lives in his own universe. Things are going smoothly, however we decided to graduate first and then go for Gusto with the store. We don’t want to be worrying about all things ‘Reno-related’ when we should be studying. I work with Ruby in the shop three afternoons a week. We get along great and I love the experience I’m getting. The first time I worked in the shop was three days after I first walked in there. I walked in as Ruby was walking out. “No better way to learn than to throw you in the deep end,”
