This is a great read. I was pleasantly entertained. I really enjoyed reading about Miles and Lara. Finally to see Miles get his HEA and it not be with Cindy, perfect. It was great to see the McClouds and their prodigy. One thing I really didn't like was not being able to visually tell the difference between the story text and the mental;texting; between Miles and Lara. It was almost like stumbling on pebbles when reading, I got through it but was irked. None the less, the story was classic McKenna, get the girl, love the girl, argue about stuff, hero complex to protect the girl, loose the girl to the bad guy, save the day, become brooding loner til the girl reasons with hero. All along the way, stubborn males and females, comic relief, and adrenaline spikes, and paranormal psi thrown in the mix. Can't go wrong with McKenna's style. This was the first book I picked up in the McClouds & Friends series and instantly fell in love with it. I have a difficult time with books that deal with mind bending and mind reading, etc, but Shannon does a really good job in this book (as well as the series). The series is not one that needs to be read in order (like I said, I read book 10 first), but it doesn't help to have other books ahead of it, to learn how Miles came across his psych abilities.A full review will be left on my blog at a later date.
What do You think about Scherben Der Erinnerung (2000)?
Loved this. Surprised at the deep supernatural theme. Glad Miles grew up and got his hea.
