The Ryan Taryn love horror story continues and in comparison to the first book it's definitely a disappointment. Just one of the same, in my opinion it didn't add anything and it was definitely not surprising in any way. It's an entertaining read for on the beach, but not very interesting and or eventful. In this sequel there is more chasing by fans and media, more irritation spiced up with an adoption story and a 'rushed' and pretty boring wedding that didn't 'do' it for me at all. On top of all that the ending was totally predictable. What was absolutely unbelievable for me was Ryan getting rid of experienced people in the movie business and replacing them by Taryn who became of course an expert overnight in different jobs in an extremely complex 'new' world. I think the lives of some of the secondarily characters like Mike and Marie were more interesting than what the main characters where going through.Anyway I read the book because I wanted to know what would happen next to Ryan and Taryn, but now I wish I would have kept to the first book only. It would have left a better impression on me. Actual rating 1,5 stars. Another one of Tina's wonderful novels. It was different this time since Taryn and Ryan were already familiar with each other and it was focused less on break-up-drama and more on them facing the storm together. Even though I sometimes frowned at Ryan's controlling, I loved the character traits he displayed in this one. He got strict and sometimes loud, yet soft and lovable as usual. I giggled a lot, smiled even more and felt so comfortable reading even though it took me longer than the first book despite it having less pages. I just love it, I really do. Can't wait for Tina's next books.
