I liked this book. I did not love this book, however. I really enjoy Heidi Cullinan as an author, her Special Delivery series is the BOMB! I enjoyed the sex in her other series better because it was laid out in detail. She included emotions with her love scenes in Special Delivery; she did not include emotions other than lust in Second Hand. It left me wanting and feeling like something was missing. Mostly, I found Paul annoying. Seriously truly wanna kick him in the shins annoying. If ever there was a character to whom I'd like to yell "nut up, cowboy", this would it. El is sweet, but boy's got issues. Get over your family stuff, dude. So I guess I wasn't enamored with either of them. And so the story fell flat. Cullinan and Sexton are excellent authors; this was not excellent for me.

This story really worked for me. I really loved watching the two of them fall in love.
