I just finished reading Deadly Lies and I was disappointed that it ended. This was an amazing trilogy. Full of so much sizzling hot romance, lots of mystery and suspense, and action. It was fast paced and very hard to put down. Each installment was as great as the other. I do have to suggest that if you choose to read this and I HIGHLY recommend it, you should start at the beginning with Deadly Fear, then go to Deadly Heat and then finally Deadly Lies. It’s important because you not only get to meet and learn about the supporting characters but also learn their back history.That being said, Deadly Lies brings us the story of Samantha Kennedy’s struggle to overcome her fears that she experienced in the first novel, Deadly Fear. She meets Max Ridgeway who not only turns her world upside down, but breaks down her walls she’s built up. She learns to trust him, and for her trust is almost impossible.Max’s world is turned upside down from the minute he meets Samantha; he can’t get her out of his mind. Then his brother is kidnapped and everything is not what it seems.The title of this novel, Deadly Lies, is the perfect title for this. There was so many lies and deceits you have no idea what’s happening throughout. A lot of twist and turns until the end. The only thing I do wish is that it didn’t end. It would have been great to have a HEA for Ramirez, Hyde and Daniels.Great series. Highly recommended. I hope Cynthia Eden keeps writing Romantic Suspense novels, she does such an great job of them. All of them are very enjoyable and highly addictive. I really liked the book. Like all books with law-enforcement characters some situations were utterly ridiculous and unrealistic, but it wasn't in an annoying way. The heightened drama made things more interesting and showed the characters in different light under different circumstances. That made the love story really intense, I liked both of the main characters and I liked them together. I also like reading about the team's interactions and work And the kidnapping plot was the most interesting crisis from all three books in mu opinion. All in all, a fast and easy read for romantic suspense lovers.
