What a beautiful, touching story it was! Told in such an unusual way, through diaries' entries, internet chats and emails, and plenty of delightful poetry, it kept me turning pages and left me wishing for more despite the unexpected and oh so very satisfactory ending. The switching points of view made this novel so rich, so much more poignant. I loved when Jack Savage was telling his part, his version of the happenings. Then of course it was back to Liz, my favorite of this story. I loved this book and will read the next one soon! I read this in two days, it was very compelling. This book caught my attention right away because of the quality of the writing. I love poetry and although you don’t have to like poetry to enjoy this book, it made it all the more special. Without spoiling the story, I must say that the communication between the characters was some of the best dialog I have ever read. This applies to both the written and spoken exchanges in the story. Read this compelling account of “life” with its ups and downs. You will take away something special by the end.
