Shatner Rules: Your Guide To Understanding The Shatnerverse And The World At Large (2011) - Plot & Excerpts

I've had a bit of a weird fascination with William Shatner for many years. Nothing to do with his Star Trek years as he is not my favorite Captain by a long shot. Patrick Stewart and Chris Pine duel for that honor. However, he's a bit of a straight shooter who has made no bones about his success and what he 's willing to do to maintain it. I respect that. Add the bonus of being a fellow Montrealer and I can't help but like the guy. This book is full of tales and tidbits that invite you to understand more the world of Shatner and what it's been like to get to 80 in Hollywood. Not as good as his autobiography which was so endearing. This one is just... I don't know what to call it. I could have done without the endless (it seemed) Esperanto whatever it was and the descriptions of his various singing forays (especially lately). Still, I do like Bill and admire the fact he's been acting for over 50 years and still going strong and with so many varied things so late in his life. Good for him! Loved his rule "Say Yes!" and also loved the story of when he did the salute to George Lucas. On audio, with Himself narrating.
