Jana Deleon has another snappy, fun to read story in "Showdown in Mudbug", which I finished last night. I've now checked out two more in the series, "Resurrection in Mudbug" and "Missing in Mudbug". Won't I have some good times over the weekend reading these cutie pies! I expect someone in the bayou country out from New Orleans will have a highway marker erected, designating "Mudbug". I applaud such a project! Let yourself go! Read this series. Go, Helena! Shame on you, mad doctors. The third installment in the Ghost-in-Law series follows Raissa and her exploits, as she faces her former life as an FBI agent and a mysterious case of missing girls that she never was able to solve. This book clears up some loose ends from the first two, including who killed Helena Henry, in the final mystery reveal.I was surprised by who / what the mystery's solution turned out to be, but when I thought back over the clues from the previous books, it did make enough sense that I was satisfied. There are three more books in this series so far, so I may continue on with it- though I wonder where they will take it from here?
What do You think about Showdown In Mudbug (2010)?
The mysteries override the romance in this book, but still a fast paced page turner.
