You know after the last book I was waiting for something to happen with Leo and Shelley. I get why Shelley pushed Leo away and why Leo was done, even if I didn't like it. I could tell right away what Julian was up to, but thought it would back fire on him or at least end up hurting one of the parties in a big way. I didn't expect that Wolf would use the opportunity that Julian gave him to get closer to his brother. I really liked Wolf and Shelley's relationship, there was a playful component to it that made me laugh. Of course Wolf still managed to pull out his Dom and put Shelley in her place when she needed it. I loved that from the start Wolf did what he could to bring Leo into their relationship. I found the trouble that Shelley and Leo found themselves in to be a bit boring. The best part of it was how so many of the past characters were pulled in allowing for some great group scenes where the Doms worked to get the bad buy.I loved it when Shelley pitched her fit towards the end. I thought it needed to be done, that the big bad Dom needed to be taken down a peg because he did the one thing that he promised he wouldn't, hurt her. I especially loved that she had people around her that supported her tantrum. A new character shows up in this one, Kitten. I am torn with her, actually hated her at first. It annoys me that she talks about herself in the third person, that she had no boundaries at all and needs a keeper. But, and it is a big one, I realized that she does this on purpose. When the shit started to hit the fan she came through in a big way. So now I find myself intrigued by her, I want to know what happened to her that made her that way. I have a feeling it will be interesting to say the least.Another tense part of the book was Wolf getting Logan to admit he was not fine. I loved Logan from the Nights in Bliss series, hated what he had to go through. Once again I find myself laughing at the BDSM therapy, but that is beside the point. The scene that Wolf set up had my heartbreaking. I knew no one was really getting hurt, but from Logan's perspective it had to be his own personal hell, but one he needed to walk thru. I look forward to seeing Logan back to being himself with Leo's help. I flipin' love this series. I feel like I've been waiting forever for Leo's story, and it was every bit as good as all that anticipation had me imagining.I loved seeing everyone again -Julian has to be one of my all time favorite characters, and he was in true manipulative form for this book. I loved Wolf too. We got to know him some in the Bliss series, and I think this was the perfect triad for him. Off to read Ben and Chase's book! Can't wait to find out more about them.
