I think this book called Sleepaway Girls is a really good book because it shows how a girls can over came her fears of being social and talking to new people. When Sam came's to summer camp she doesn't know anyone and doesn't know how to be a concealer because its her first year. Also while shes facing make new friends she has two other problems one being that everywhere you go theirs always going to be a bad person no one in life is good however they can be good but they choose not to. Also whiles shes here and finally makes new friends she seems to because more and more distant from her best friend from her hometown. Its mainly because her best friend doesn't have time for Sam anymore because she has a new boyfriend. I really think this is a god book to read and would recommend for young readers to read it because it shows a life changing experience of a girl going through a change in her life when she finally understand true friendship and valuing people. Meh. A bit contrived overall-- though the "romance" was so blah 'twas annoying. Pretty predictable storyline... meh and meh... a short read. I think I'll take a nap now. Although did like the friendship/togetherness shown... even though they don't have a lot in common... but that's good, too, shows how diverse people can be good friends just because they have the same cardinal qualities. Can't sit and try to name them, too nappy....
I've read this book when I was in 6th grade, it was sooo in love with this book :0
