Sno Ho (2010) - Plot & Excerpts

This book didn't do it for me.I found Boone's character quite annoying - he's bitchy and snarky and says exactly what's on his mind all the time and it just got irritating. Wade's character also felt a little flat as well, possibly because we were just seeing him from Boone's point of view. That said, the dynamic between the two of them felt real and I could see why Wade would fall for Boone. It did end a little abruptly as well, there is a HFN, but it just kind of stops. I know there is a sequel, but still, seemed like there were a few too many loose ends. It's possible that I just wasn't in the mood - I might re-read some other time to see if it grows on me. My first impression is "Eh, that is where it ended?" This had a very abrupt ending but since there is a second book I'm assuming that the story will continue on there. As for the story this is very light read. There is a lot of humor and fun as Boone gets under Wade's skin. Boone has a lot of snarky humor and Wade with his minor Olympic fame appreciates someone not doesn't cater to him. It's fun watching Boone try to resist the relationship all the while enjoying it as well. The whole town's interest in their relationship adds yet more humor to the book. I really enjoyed these characters and look forward to seeing how they do in the next book.
