They looked like they might be wedding guests, all dressed up for the fancy evening ahead. It was a Wedding Saturday—the first one I would experience at the Inn. The Inn was rented out for weddings almost every Saturday throughout the summer, and some Sundays, too. They were rumored to be very fun, because nearly everyone on staff worked at them. So, instead of teaching sailing, Claire was going to be serving dinner plates, while I would circulate with trays of appetizers and champagne. It was an “all hands on deck” situation, as Miss Crossley phrased it.
