Finishing this series was like running a marathon...with finishing more to the point than enjoying the total journey. This book also suffered from the problem of structure. I had the feeling that MacHale just doesn't know when to stop. The ending was a perfect case in point...it went on too far in wrapping up all of the details which would have been better left to the reader's imagination. Stepping back, however, I do recommend this series to fantasy and adventure readers, especially boys, with the caveat that you need not feel compelled to read past book five. The Soldiers of Halla, the final chapter in the Pendragon Series, is by far the best book that I have read in the year of 2013. This book series is absolutely amazing, with questions being answered, secrets being revealed, and a little bit more adventure written professionally and excellently across every single page. This book series is has 10 books that add on to each other, and are extremely fluent. Throughout the entire way, it keeps you engaged and fills you with a sense of repulsion and refusal to lay the book down. I give this book a five-out-of-five star rating, and if I could give it more than that, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. I recommend this book series for everyone, and believe me, it will not be a waste of time.
What do You think about Soldiers Of Halla, The (2009)?
Ending felt a bit.... too easily resolvedfor a series that lasted 10 books
