Zombies. The outbreak started in New York on the 20th February. Within weeks it had spread to the entire world. Nations fell. Law and order gave way to chaos and anarchy almost everywhere. In Britain, after the Prime Minister disappeared, Sir Michael Quigley, the Foreign Secretary, took over, running the country with a coalition cabinet that included Jennifer Masterton MP. Rationing, Curfews, Martial Law, the banning of almost all public gatherings, it wasn't enough. An evacuation plan was devised. Everyone in the inland cities of Britain would be evacuated to enclaves established around the coast. To ensure that they left their homes, evacuees were promised a vaccine once they had reached their evacuation muster point. Bill Wright, a childhood friend of Jennifer Masterton, and now her campaign manager, came up with that plan, but he didn't leave with the evacuees. He had broken his leg on the day the outbreak started.
