Sarah Dearly is frustrating as a heroine. She is impulsive, rushes headlong into situations that have you thinking "This is going to end badly", says what she thinks, and trusts all the wrong people. In short, she's warm, genuine, funny and totally without ulterior motives; exactly what Thierry needs in his life. Once I got over my cringing over her tenancy to stumble into every pothole of life she finds, I enjoyed this series. Like the previous 4 books this one is also funny, witty, mildly action-packed & exciting etc.It gives Sarah Dearly's "fledgling" vamp story a Happy Ending -We like happy endings very much!But,....yes,there is a "But" too, whether you like it or not! Actually, the inpact of the previous 4 books of the "Immortality Bites" series, (specially "Lady And The Vamp") has increased my expectations from the author so much that now I am finding myself unable to give the last book of the series 5 stars!Otherwise it was really another great work of Michelle Rowen! So, don't waste time, just go for it!
What do You think about Tall, Dark & Fangsome (2009)?
Sad to see it over, but it was a funny ride.
