Quattro stelline e 1/2!! Lettura veloce, la storia ti cattura dall'inizio alla fine, protagonisti decisi e fermi sulle loro posizioni finche' qualcosa non si muove dentro di loro.Lei deve lavorare per vivere e ha già cambiato diversi lavori, ma la sua schiettezza e sincerità non sono d'aiuto, lui con un passato tormentato ha perso la gioia e la capacita' di scrivere... Una collaborazione che aiuta entrambi, con dialoghi vivaci e brillanti e passione quanto basta! Lettura consigliata. I love Laura Lee Guhrke's writing. I love the late-Victorian setting and the girl bachelors. Her love scenes are swoon-worthy.But . . . . it's hard to write an exciting book about a man with writer's block. Not a lot happens. There aren't many characters -- just the hero and heroine, with a minor role for great aunt Mathilda and an even more minor role for sister Lucy. There are, however, pages and pages about why one writes and why one loses the ability and/or desire to write. This was a sweet story, but I must confess that I skimmed vast parts of it. The love scenes, though, should be read carefully!

Stayed up until 4 AM finishing it. Way sappy at the end, but overall pretty good.
