I'm not a fan of reading science fiction but I needed something different. it's hard for me to get a mental picture of the fantastical things being presented to me.I read a review somewhere that said the story was a combo of Jason Bourne and the x files and the seems accurate. I'd rather watch the x files then read it. it really annoyed me that Draith' s history was never revealed. I keep waiting and waiting and nothing. i feel like I have no closure on this character and I really don't want to read any sequels. I rarely ever read novels in this style and to be honest, I loved certain aspects of it as I now think back. I was instantly drawn into the main character, Quentin Draith but what I disliked as I read along was the way female characters were viewed by the author or in this case, Quentin. Some parts were exciting yet somehow I had to 'force' myself to read further on in some areas because of how long-stretched and dragged it was. In some ways or another I wanted the relationship between Jenna and Quentin to grow as I read along but sadly it didn't reveal itself that way but still an interesting book!
Enjoyable book. Was a free Samsung Book, and introduced me to a new author.
