This series is definitely not going as well as I had hoped. I really enjoyed the first volume and the introduction to the characters. However, there is a really rough and sometimes spastic flow to it. It seems very trite and forced. I really like the characters but not how they are sometimes portrayed. It's complicated. I think I'll probably keep reading but we'll see. Not as into is as I was after volume 1. Most bad reviews come from the same idea: I can't follow the story because it is a crossover. I find that stupid. The book does exactly what it says on the back. it collects issuses 8 to 14. If you would have had them in their original comicbook for would that have been a problem? I don't think so. Judgeing a collection with the expectation of a story is useless. Know what you are geting and you will not be dissapointed. I was not by all the pieces of the new 52 universe I found here
I love the Ravengers! It was entertaining to get a bigger picture of the culling.
