Tell Me Something Good: Louisiana Love Series: City Girls (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
I could not put this book. I started reading it the night it got here in the mail. The story line kept me hooked until 3 am when I finished the book. The people in the book where one of a kind. There is not much I can say is wrong with this book except the typos the editor should have caught them and did not I do not understand how they did not. There is the number 1 in many places where a I should have been and at one point there was 111 for I will missing letters in some words like to there was just a o there and many places a nm was put in and you had to figure out what word to replace it with. Once this is taken care of should easily be on the top reads list every where. I can not say how much I enjoyed this story those two grand mothers in this story so funny. The whole family on both sides are crazy reminds me of my own. Great read thanks again I so wanted to read this one and it did not let me down.
First, I want to thank Goodreads and the author for the giveaway! This is not typically my style of book, but it did have a good storyline and I enjoyed the characters. Being a bit of a reluctant perfectionist, I had trouble finishing the book due the large number of typos... I even started marking them! I was not aware that I was receiving an advanced copy, although it may have been, hence the typos. This story was about old money and power and an unsettled "missing" priceless painting from long ago. The southern bell will retrieve the painting for her grandmother but the stakes are high. It will be quite a feat to grab that painting from the wealthiest, most powerful family in the South...
