Το πρώτο πράγμα που πρόσεξα όταν έπιασα στα χέρια μου το βιβλίο της Johanna Lindsey “Τυφλή Αφοσίωση”, το οποίο κυκλοφορεί από τις εκδόσεις Elxis, ήταν το συγκλονιστικό εξώφυλλο του. Ιδανικό για την ιστορία του βιβλίου και τους δυναμικούς του ήρωες. Ήρωες που γνώριζα καλά, πολύ πριν τον βιβλίο εκδοθεί στην Ελλάδα.Η ιστορία του γοητευτικού και άστατου Άντονι Μάλορι είναι τόσο ιδιαίτερη όσο και ο πρωταγωνιστής της. Τον Άντονι τον πρωτογνωρίσαμε, μαζί με τα περισσότερα μέλη της οικογένειας του, στο βιβλίο “Αγαπάς μόνο μια φορά”. Πρόκειται για το πρώτο βιβλίο της σειράς Malory - Anderson Family που κυκλοφόρησε από τις εκδόσεις Elxis. Στην “Τυφλή Αφοσίωση” ο Άντονι γνωρίζει την Σκοτσέζα Ρόσλιν Τσάντγουικ και γοητεύεται από το πνεύμα και την κοφτερή της γλώσσα. Η Ρόσλιν έχει άμεση ανάγκη την προστασία που θα κερδίσει με έναν γάμο και ο Άντονι προσφέρεται να την παντρευτεί, όχι μόνο για να την προστατέψει, αλλά και για να την κάνει δική του. Τι γίνεται όμως όταν δύο εκρηκτικές προσωπικότητες, με τα δικά τους σκοτάδια, βρίσκονται αντιμέτωπες με το για πάντα ενός γάμου; Το πάθος που ενώνει τον Άντονι και τη Ρόσλιν είναι ικανό να φέρει την αγάπη στις καρδιές τους;Θεωρώ εξαιρετική την κίνηση των εκδόσεων Elxis να εκδώσουν επιτέλους την ιστορία του Άντονι, καθώς αυτό είναι το δεύτερο βιβλίο της σειράς και όχι το “Ο κουρσάρος της καρδιάς μου”, που είναι το τρίτο. Προσωπικά προτιμώ να διαβάζω βιβλία που αποτελούν σειρές, έστω κι αν είναι αυτοτελή μεταξύ τους, με τη σειρά που γράφτηκαν.Το ξεχωριστό με το συγκεκριμένο βιβλίο είναι οι ίδιοι οι χαρακτήρες των πρωταγωνιστών. Ο Άντονι είναι υπερβολικά ειλικρινής, ωστόσο η Ρόσλιν δεν του χαρίζεται. Δυναμική και γνήσια Σκοτσέζα, τον αντιμετωπίζει με γενναιότητα και πάθος. Η χημεία μεταξύ τους είναι μαγική και η πένα της Johanna Lindsey δημιουργεί μια υπέροχη ιστορία πάθους και μυστικών, φτάνοντας συγγραφικά σε ανώτερα επίπεδα από τα προηγούμενα έργα της.Ένα βιβλίο ιδανικό για τους λάτρεις του ιστορικού, αισθηματικού μυθιστορήματος, αλλά και γι' αυτούς που προτιμούν αυτοτελείς ιστορίες οι οποίες όμως εντάσσονται σε λογοτεχνικές σειρές. Ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα συν του βιβλίου είναι η άριστη μετάφραση του.Η ιστορία της οικογένειας Μάλορι συνεχίζεται!
Review yang saya berikan sangat subjektif, sangat bergantung pada selera pribadi saya.Ini adalah novel Malory Family yang paling saya suka. Mungkin karena saya jatuh cinta kepada sosok Anthony Malory. Hahaha! Penulisnya menggambarkan Anthony sebagai sosok yang sangat tampan, berambut hitam, tinggi, kulitnya tidak putih pucat (bule). Ia juga orang yang tidak bisa serius dan suka bercanda, menurut saya, apalagi kalau dengan James.Hal lain yang saya suka dari novel ini juga karena besar cerita, mungkin dua pertiganya, menceritakan kehidupan percintaan Anthony yang sudah menikah. Saya lebih suka cerita pasangan yang sudah menikah daripada yang masih pacaran, walaupun di sini sikap Roslynn sangat menyebalkan. Hal ini justru membuat Anthony terlihat keren di mata saya, bagaimana ia harus sabar menghadapi sikap istrinya. Dari situ bisa terlihat bahwa ia sangat mencintai Roslynn. Cintanya kepada Roslynn sangat terlihat jelas saat ia terdesak dan langsung memaksa Roslynn untuk menikah dengannya. Seorang playboy, yang anti terhadap pernikahan, tiba-tiba memutuskan untuk menikah, memaksa si wanita untuk menikah dengannya. Menurut saya ini sungguh luar biasa.Ada kalanya juga Anthony marah dan tidak tahan dengan sikap Roslynn. Menurut saya cara marahnya lucu. Ia bisa bersikap dingin juga. Orang seperti dia saat marah dan bersikap dingin sangat menakutkan, tetapi juga lucu secara bersamaan. Ada hal yang cukup menarik sekaligus lucu saat Anthony marah, yaitu adegan 'kursi'. Hahaha! Sudahlah, yang ini tidak usah diceritakan secara detail.Anthony juga sangat protektif terhadap Roslynn. Ia sampai memburu Geordie, sepupu Roslynn. Ia terlihat keren pada adegan di mana ia sedang mempersiapkan senapan untuk menghadapi Geordie dan kemudian berdialog dengan Roslynn. Roslynn sampai merasa bersalah karena telah membawa Anthony dalam bahaya.Sepertinya saya bukan mereview ceritanya, tetapi lebih memuji-muji Anthony di sini. Hehehe!

Ah uzun zamandır böyle eğlenceli kitaplar okumuyordum. Lindsey bu konuda gerçekten çok yetenekli. Okuduğum her bir kitabını ayrı bir zevkle ve heyecanla okudum. Kadın gerçekten çok güzel yazıyor. Kitaplarında da en çok sevdiğim yanı sanırım kardeşlerin sürekli olarak birbirleri ile didişmeleriydi. Okumak ayrı bir zevk alıyor hal böyle olunca. :) Ayrıca okuduğum her 3 kitabında da delicesine James'i gözüme soktu resmen yazar. Herkesten çok onu okumak istesemde daha Türkçeye çevriilmemiş olması büyük hayal kırıklığı benim için :(

I liked it overall, but there were parts I didn't like.CAUTION SPOILERS:I didn't like Roslynn holding a grudge for so long. Also, I didn't like Anthony not defending himself. He could have provided witnesses to Roslynn about the barmaid coming to him and his refusal of the barmaid. Roslynn and Anthony should have talked openly instead of fighting for several weeks. Well, well, well...It was uncle-Tony's turn!!! And it was really good to see the womaniser Tony to be tamed from a Scottish heiress with quite a temper...And this book in this series was lovely!!! Even though i still have a preference to Nicholas Eden!!!I love this guy and the first book was my favorite...But Tony and Nicholas were similar characters... That's why they don't like each other!!! And of course the same happened with James... He and Tony are against to Nicholas and believe me when i say that when those three guys are in the same room the atmosphere is very amusing... But enough with that!!!Tony as we all know was a womaniser of that period and he was amazingly charming... He didn't want to get married and he was having fun with the way his life was... But everything is changing when he sees the fiercy redhead with the "attitude". From the first moment, he wants to take her in his bed but this Scottish woman is not so easy to handle, even though she feels the same about him from the first moment. But Roslyn is already aware of this kind of men and she doesn't want to get involve with him... And she has already her own plans... She has to get married soon enough because she is in danger from a ruthless cousin...So, Roslyn is trying to find the right guy to be her husband and Tony is trying to win her heart...Roslyn is trying to vanish Tony from her mind and her life but Tony wants to ruin her plans...And in some point, he tricks her and they get married...For God's sake!!! Tony is a husband... Unbelievable??? Yeah, it was!!!But he was a very good husband... The problem in this marriage was Roslyn... She was afraid of what Tony used to be before her that drive him in his limits...I really want to slap her in some points... She was so unfair and so stubborn...Both of them were stubborn as a mule...And the things turn out so much complicated... But i enjoyed all this madness!!!Their relation was fiesty and intense!!!I really love to read about the Malory family and i want so badly to read the fourth book...Why the fourth book???? Because here in Greece they made a mistake and they published the first and the third book, so... i know everything that happened with Captain Hawk (aka James Malory)...
