Contemporary Medical themed romance about a couple of friends who make it more then friends when one finally gets a divorce from her useless husband, but there are complications because she has a downs syndrome child that takes up her life. Shelly Weaver is really clueless with men, that can be her only excuse because she picks a superficial guy for a husband that leaves her when she has a special needs child and then doesn't notice that her best work friend Doctor has a huge crush on her for years. Dr. Ross Bodey is one patient guys who knows what he wants in life.I guess Ross had to wait until Shelly was 'free' but honestly he should have said something when she was only 'engaged' before the wedding to at least clear the air instead of waiting around for the 'second wave' divorced folks to get back into the dating pool again.
