My rating system -1 star = awful all the way around. No point in even finishing it.2 stars = read out of morbid curiousity. Lots of errors. Way too short. Generally no depth, no creativity, no nothing. Want a red pen so can correct.3 stars = Average book. Fun read. Nothing too exciting, but worth the time in the bathtub or on the sofa to read. Definitely better than most of TV's offerings. Worth the time to get from the library or paying $.99 or less.4 stars= Good book. Thought provoking. Actually used real vocab. Sincerely loved reading it, but will never read again so not worth buying.5 stars = Excellent book and 1 I intend to buy. That's the only difference between a 4 & a 5. 5's I buy, even if the odds are low I will ever read again. This was a pretty decent short story in the Iron Druid Chronicles. This story explores Arthurian legend and has fun placing Atticus smack dab in the middle, reinventing Gawain's search for the Holy Grail in light of Druidic lore. It is a very well done revision. My only complaint is that the action sequences seemed a bit too easily resolved, at least compared to the novels. It made the "peril" seem much less perilous by contrast. However, I still thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it for a quick fun read.
