This was a nice story... I enjoyed Dean and Anthony... I loved the family ... The twins were hilarious... The only 1 that I didn't care for was Nicky ... And I'm going to explain why... The author was trying to portray her as a 13yr old girl who mother dies and she shunned at school... But she came off like a 6yr old.. She should have been more mature to me ... Some of her reactions to situations were just down rt childish... She just really got on my nerves... But the story was good so it made it bearable... 4 stars... Can there be such a thing as unnecessary sex in an m/m book? Maybe I just didn't think it was hot enough and it sorta just seemed put there just to put it there....too mechanical than needy. But not all of it though. The first sex scene was great. The one in Anthony's apt was good. The phone sex was, however, rather disappointing. I kinda found myself bored w/ it and that's REALLY hard to do when listening to the audiobook on the subway. I enjoyed the story, it was simple enough. I adored Dean and sometimes Anthony got on my nerves and I guess that could have been the intention. A lot of the story was telling more than showing and that got annoying. I wish "coming out" to his niece was a bit more dramatic or serious or real than just something that sounded like it was written in a hurry. Regardless of everything, I really FELT for the characters and enjoyed the story. The amounts of time the author wrote "exploded" was a bit too much... I really don't want to imagine anyone's dick exploding, thank you very much. I wish I loved this book more. But, sadly, I just can't seem to get myself there. Even with all the sex. I was unsatisfied.
