A villa and guest house, surrounded by palms and flowers, had been built at the center of the island. The original owner had completed construction and furnished the house. At the last minute, just before he was to move in, he suffered a financial disaster and was forced to place the property on the market. The price was substantial, and there had only been a few serious inquiries made to the realtor who had already dropped the price once.
