The episode this morning with Ross and Meg had tugged at her heartstrings, but deep down she was glad to have moved away from them. She didn’t want anything to distract her from her goal of getting her life back to where it used to be...or somewhere close, at least. She needed to stay focused, and her focus had slipped. Now it was time to toughen up, to work harder on her exercises and get her unwilling body back to full strength in order to start doing some work with horses again. On her next day off, she decided, she would go to Hope Farm and see Dennis, if that was okay with Bob Nelson. It was nice to know that at least one person around here knew who she really was...or had been. The front door opened just as she raised her key to the lock. Cass stepped out into the sunshine, a broad, welcoming smile on her face. “I hope you don’t mind,” she said. “But I have another key, and I wanted to put some flowers and things in, you know, try to make it a bit like home.”
