If you're looking for a fast, hot read, then this is the book to get it from. The story was rather predictable, but you still get to see how it all plays out.Connor is your brooding alpha male who is just looking for sex (surprise, surprise), no commitment. Jessica is our innocent flower who is desperate for money and decides to seek out some financial assistance by way of this website - which is how she meets our H.Their relationship starts off strictly sexual, as per their arrangement. But, of course, rules change, feelings change and this arrangement takes on a life of it's own. There were some very hot sexual encounters, your typical "you belong to me and no one else" drama, but I felt like there were some key components missing that would have actually made me believe the feelings these two developed for one another. This is my second Lynda Chance book and just like Marcos Redemption, there's just something about it that falls short for me. I don't hate the book nor do I like it. Starting off, the premise and characters worked. I felt Jessica's desperation and Conner had me intrigued. I was so sure I would love this book. Then a third way in, I got bored and annoyed. They have this weird clinical sex, then he gets possessive, then she falls in love... all the while he's being a jerk. The reasoning to why he is is just plain stupid too IMO.No reread here.
