The Night After I Lost You (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
Yup. It was okay. But this is just a 9 pager so I really can't blame this. It's a good chapter showing Ash's perspective but not good enough to be a book all on it's own :pAnyways. I will make this an opportunity to just fangirl on Ash.Absolutely LOVE the guy :>Yeah he looked all goody goody with all that description from Unspoken. Polite, charming, golden hair, lean body, handsome face. Yeah yeah. But what really caught me was his vulnerability. It really shone in this book, The Night After I Lost You. He was TORN. The best word for him: Torn. :(((( sad. There, there. You know I'd do anything to be your source, darling. HAHAHA.Ash is torn. Family being all dark and so so so...well, dark. And Kami, Holly, Angela getting hurt because of him and his whole family. He just wanted to be on someone's side. To count on someone to be on his side always. Sort of like what Kami and Jared had in the past (huhuhu). He's torn. WHich side will he go too? For now he's neither here nor there. He's stuck. And my heart breaks for him! :( Kami, you and Ash belong together! Forget about Jared scarface. LOL. Kidding ;) Well that's it! End rant. I love Ash. I mean I really love Ash. I know I want Kami with Jared, but damn if I don't want her w/Ash too. I feel so bad for him. He's the bad guy, the good guy, the guy who is bad bc he doesnt even realize it. He's just looking for love and belonging. And after this, I feel for him even more. It's really nice to get his pov and it was a nice little scene.Really loved it.

I really do like jared's POVs better.

I don't like the story from Ash's point of view as much as I like Jared's.

The Lynburn mothers seem to have a knack for not liking their offspring.

I think I would have preferred Lillian's POV.
