An okay read. Some places the writing felt a bit clumsy, but not sure if that was just something to do with how it was written, or how it was translated.The story itself was quite interesting, very well plotted, and involved a lot of detail. The characters all felt real and interesting. There was, however, a lot of complicated historical information, which as someone who knows very little about Greek history, made parts of plot difficult to understand, and some parts quite complicated as I tried to keep track of what was being said. That was where it lost one star. Lost the second for the ending. Although it was slightly happy, I felt unsatisfied that everyone's motives had been explained, and felt that too many lose ends were left untied. All in all an interesting and enjoyable read, and I wouldn't be opposed to reading more Manfredi in the future.
Colossale fregatura, sonorissima trombata di Mondadori e Manfredi (veri ladri senza dignità)!!!Non vi lasciate trarre in inganno dal titolo "Il mio nome è Nessuno" perché non fa affatto parte di quella serie, *NON* è il terzo capitolo della saga!!!Leggendolo la storia mi sembrava familiare ed è bastato controllare la data di pubblicazione perché tutto diventasse chiaro: è il sottotitolo, "L'Oracolo", il vero titolo del libro, una riedizione di un romanzo già pubblicato nel 1990.Vorrei i miei maledetti euro indietro!!!

4/10Un esempio lampante di come NON bisogna trattare il patto col lettore: fino alle ultime pagine il lettore può essere tranquillamente convinto di stare leggendo un libro thriller, salvo poi scoprire che... è un'opera fantastica! Una volta chiarito questo punto possiamo trovare molti rimandi, nelle pagine precedenti, al finale che quindi risulta coerente con il corpo del romanzo (la svolta fantastica non è un deus ex machina); ma fino a poco prima della fine non compare MAI un elemento davvero

A little bit disappointed that this wasn't the slightly supernatural based thriller I was expecting from reading the back. Although a tense and disturbing atmosphere is created by Manfredi, the conclusion seemed anti-climatic compared to all the background. Furthermore, the events that occurred many years ago surrounding the death of the girl, and the finding of the ancient artifact don't seem to be intrinsically linked as the write up implies. While the detail about the ancient civilisation were well done, what you would expect from Manfredi given his other novels, I was unimpressed overall.
