The Queen (2011) - Plot & Excerpts

The Queen was one of the books I was most looking forward to rereading. Mainly because I remembered clearly who the villain(s) were and that the twist was something you'd never guess! Even though I already knew what to expect, this book was still very intense and the book's ending had me "on the edge of my seat"!I mentioned this in my first review of The Queen, but I really loved how the topic of forgiveness was explored in this book. I also really liked that we got to meet Patrick's brother -- it was interesting to see how they got along,All in all, another great thriller. The Queen is more mild than the other books, but still a very suspenseful and adrenaline-pumping story. I recommend it!*I had received a review copy of this book earlier and I've already reviewed it. This second review was not required, I just wanted to share my thoughts on my reread. As always, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.* Over all I liked the book. It was well written and for the most part kept moving forward. The reason I didn't give it a higher rating is because I felt the end was drawn out, leaving it anticlimactic. He had a good ending to the main plot then spent the next ~30 pages on finishing up the sub-plots. But as I said overall a good read and I was glad to see him break away from the story line that had become somewhat repetitive in this series.
