They’d had a small nap, right before his damned phone started pinging at him. Leaving her to muck around, he’d singed a steak to munch on as he figured out just where an alert was going off. So far he still had no clue and wasn’t getting much of anything off the system he and the other Hunters used. Shooting an e-mail to the others, he inquired if they’d all gotten the same alert and if anyone had narrowed it down. Usually when one came through it was fast and easy to figure out, because usually someone tagged the location of the Rogue alert. In this case—nada. Coming down the stairs slowly Bethany looked around the home and then finally smiled. She was happy. It was the craziest thing but she was so very happy. Coming down the stairs she let her fingers trail along with her and then leaned against the wall to watch him as he paced. “Are you all right, honey?” Stopping to look at her he nodded slightly. “All unpacked?” he asked, moving toward her slowly.
