The Unwritten, Vol. 4: Leviathan (2011) - Plot & Excerpts
A lot can happen in a couple of days. The new and we-mean-it-this-time-last Tommy Taylor book has been released, and it's not the fraud that Tom's enemies thought they were getting. However, Wilson Taylor himself has been killed, forever closing off the easiest route for Tom and his friends to find the truth. Tom and company have, however, been directed to "the Source"--whatever that is, it's at the farm were Herman Melville wrote his magnum opus. And we are truly in for one whale of a tale, featuring Moby Dick, Sinbad the Sailor, Jonah, Pinocchio, even Baron Munchhausen. It's still unclear exactly what is going on, but I am definitely still along for the ride. Well this certainly was a whale of a tale. Carey uses characters who dealt with whales in literature throughout this volume. Most prominent is Moby Dick who gets the adventure going through his interactions with Tom. Tom and Lizzie get upclose and personal while poor Richie dealt with skin issues and an upset tummy. This story is slowly coming together. I am looking forward to reading the next volume.
What do You think about The Unwritten, Vol. 4: Leviathan (2011)?
This series just isn't for me. Only liked the Paul Bruckner rabbit story at the end.
