I really enjoyed this part of the story. I felt for Chloe in this installment. The pain of feeling like she was responsible as well as having to leave it all behind to save them all. I can't wait to see what twists and turns will come her way in the next part and if Drew or Gavin will chase after her?? The story is really developing nicely and I can't wait to find out what will happen next. I still wish it was all one book, but it's also growing on me being able to read each part and feeling a sense of completion before I have time to read the next part. I do really enjoy this series and am sure if I had a longer stretch of time I would have read them all continuously in a single day. I thought this was a cute story about a young girl with a vampire father and a vampire hunter mother. This makes her quite unusual. Chloe is young and inexperienced. Her mother has hidden her away most of her life and she didn't know anything about vampires or vampire hunters. Her first experience with them is when vampires enter her home and murder her mother in front of her eyes. She then goes to live in the vampire community with her grandfather and a cute guy named Drew. Through out this series she learns and grows into her powers and her relationship grow and change too. I thought it was a cute series and enjoyed reading each of the mini series books all in a row.
