He looked over to Karl, who was stood about ten meters away scanning the ground. At Jason’s outburst, he looked over and smiled. The only thing that stood between them was a large, solitary oak tree, a gnarled and ugly thing, devoid of leaves.‘Not really,’ Karl said, ‘at least then you know what you’re looking for.
