This Time Together: Laughter And Reflection (2010) - Plot & Excerpts
My mom and I were driving to Los Angeles and I asked what she wanted to do. I had gobs of audiobooks and music, we could just chat. She announced that she had this book for months and hadn't started it yet and now she was going to read it aloud for me. I am my mother's movie buddy, jogging buddy, basically her side kick for when she wants to do something and my dad isn't interested and I decided we'd have a go. I didn't watch a lot of Carol as a kid but she is an entertainer so its a fast, light read. Audio book -- read by Carol Burnett -- interesting, generously sprinkled with humor, forthright -- a look at television and comedy in the 60's and 70's, bits of Broadway, lots of sometimes funny, sometimes poignant vignettes of her family and her connections with celebrities. Should be enjoyable for any of her fans and those who remember or want to know about her life and the entertainment industry from mid-late 20th century.
What do You think about This Time Together: Laughter And Reflection (2010)?
Her humor is good for many belly laughs, and there are tears too.

Drags too much. Might pick it up again at a later date.
