I've read a few Karen Rose books recently. While I enjoy the suspense, I feel I need to take a break from the formula she employs for her books. There was a however a great twist in this book which saw me wide-eyed and completely unsuspecting. I love it when that happens. It doesn't happen often, but when it does - it's gold! There was one character in particular who I must say, I felt great satisfaction when they received their lot (I'm trying not to give anything away here). Hard to imagine a person like that, but unfortunately, know that they do exist out there. You'll know who I'm referring to once you've read "You belong to me". This book has also left me wondering about another character and how they will evolve. Definitely want to hear more about her, which no doubt we will in the next installment. I read this book in German, like many other Karen Rose books before and I must say that I enjoyed it. However the Vartanian-Trilogy is until now my favourite. Even if the story of You Belong To Me was entertaining and quite thrilling until the end, I had the feeling that the characters (espacially Fitzpatrick and Trask) were a bit too predicatble, a bit to sterotype. I think that Karen Rose can do better!
What do You think about Todesherz (2012)?
I think it was the narration. If the narrator would've been good maybe I could've gotten into it.

It was not that great. I mean I loved the characters but the storyline wasn't that great.
