Tygrova Stezka (2012) - Plot & Excerpts

I actually ended up reading most of this and skimming the series. The angst was ratched up, but resolved neatly enough in the fourth book, but the plot gets bogged down by the incessant info dumps. I understand that the protagonist is learning about a completely new culture, but we don't need EVERY. SINGLE. DETAIL. Really don't. Anyway, it was fun enough, but I wouldn't care to read it again. Well, well, well. I have been successfully changed from team Ren to team Kishan. Gosh these books are so freakish amazing. I thought the first one was fantastic. I think this one is fantastic! They're both fantastic! And that's saying something, because usually the sequels aren't as good (with the exception of Crown of Midnight by Sarah J Maas ami right?). I LOVE the way Houck incorporates all sorts of religions, mainly Hinduism, into this story. I love the quotes that Kelsey likes to say and I love all the characters. I love every single thing goodness gracious. Except the ending. That was pretty sad.
