He had his computer and his notebook set out on the bed of his motel room. Picking up his notebook, he leafed through it, looking over the notes he had made the last couple of days to make sure he’d caught everything. He’d made note of certain common occurrences for alien abductees. Stephanie seemed to have experienced missing time, which was often reported by people claiming to have seen a UFO or had a close encounter of some variety. Even Pastor Diego’s story contained this detail. What had he said? Nearly forty minutes had passed when it had only felt like a couple of minutes?
